I AM BLACK……I know there is racism! - End of series

I am Black and I am proud. I never wanted to be anyone else but who I am. White people have stolen our inventions, our ideas, our lands, our ability to thrive and grow, and even our lives through slavery, hangings, killings, imprisonment in jail, theft of our inventions and the list goes on infinitum. Most black people do not hate whites…we just want everything to be fair and equitable. We are a very intelligent people and have created, and continue to create, many things.

This country has been brainwashed to believe whites are smarter and more intelligent than blacks, and that blacks are dumb to boot. I ask you to research Black culture and our real contribution to this country. Don’t believe the lies FOX News spews out to you 24/7. You must understand, however, that we are a different culture and act differently than you do, but nothing is wrong with that.

Stop profiling us. Stop lying about who we are, and stop saying that we all are on welfare and are lazy. Stop the insanity of calling us “niggas or niggers” or the like. We are not stupid, we do not stink, and we are not nasty, lazy, or UGLY. We are just different! We know who we are. You should get to know who we are too.

Most black people are just like the families of the South Carolina 9 killed in the Mother Emmanuel Church. We are a forgiving people. We don’t hold hate in our hearts, but extend forgiveness. We want justice, not vengeance. When the story broke about Mother Emmanuel Church, America got a chance to see what most black people are really like. We are not all violent. We want to stop being profiled and killed because of some preconceived notion of who we are. We just want to live our lives in peace and be treated fairly.

And above ALL, face the fact that not all, but some whites are racist….really racist. You may even harbor these feelings and are not honest with yourself. If you have any stereotypical bull crap you think about any black person, then you probably are racist.
