Mary's Mind...The Minister's Wife

From a young girl I have wanted to help others.  I absolutely just love people and it does not matter who they are, what color they are, where they are from, or if they are rich or poor!!! Being around people and helping them is what I get up for each day.

 

My grandmother could not read, but passed on to me a wealth of knowledge about life.  This knowledge was practical and common sensed.  I am who I am today because of my grandmother.

Growing up in the 50s taught me many lessons, and I learned from those lessons.  I started out in church at a young age and was taught how to respect others.   This has followed me throughout my many years.

 

I am now over 60 years old and a minister’s wife.  I have gone to college, but my degree is in LIFE!  I have made in-depth studies in religion, politics, medicine, law, science, insurance, real estate and appraisal, etc.  I have earned life degrees in anger, hate, love, hurt, broken heartaches, broken lives, pain, grief as well as joy, happiness, and the healing of broken lives and hearts.

 

Back in high school, I got up one day with a problem that needed an answer. There was no one there to help me with that problem.  I started asking questions and found that I could get any information I needed by just asking!   I found there were three answers in life - YES, NO, AND POSSIBLY!   With these answers I began to build a life of practical knowledge.  I do not practice law or medicine, but I can definitely answer questions and steer you in the right direction, hopefully getting you the help you need. I can fill out any form that is put in front of me.  Believe it or not, I can even prepare immigration forms and tax forms!   Wow, now that’s something isn’t it?  There is not too much I cannot find a solution to!

 

I am finally taking charge of my life by doing some of the things I have always wanted to do.  One focus of my site is to guide ministers’ wives to finding peace, taking charge of their lives and who they are, and also loving who they are again. I can provide a front row account of what really goes on in the life of a minister’s wife (click here to see  more information on this subject). The life we share as minister’s wives is quite revealing, thought-provoking, and not at all what people think it is.

 

Another focus of my site is a general Help Center (To reach the Help Center, click here).  I want to provide practical solutions to those who may need help and information.

 

And finally, my site will give you a glimpse into my mind. I will write on a myriad of subjects such as Politics, Religion, or just general thoughts.
