Close Your Eyes - Part 3

Continuation from previous post...

Come on people! What pipe are you smoking? Until this happens to you – you don’t have a clue. Don’t let this become your child. You never know what is lurking on the dark corners of the street, night, school, home, or anywhere. You may believe your child is safe in your glass house, but death can find you anywhere. Do you believe your child has a right to defend himself against an unknown person stalking him or should he had just called out and said, “I am on the way to my father’s house”? Give me a freaking break. The stalker could have been DEXTER??? You know, Dexter, the serial killer on the hit TV show that ran for eight seasons and just ended in late 2013. My point is that Dexter, a serial killer, worked with the police department and looked like your everyday guy.

This is a horrible possibility for any parent, and my heart goes out to any parents dealing with these types of situations. It is equally significant that you understand death has no color boundaries and death does not care if you are rich or poor, or if you live in a wealthy or poor neighborhood. We all bleed, and we will all die at some point. I truly hope your son or daughter does not have to die alone in the rain like a dog.

At times, we as people tend to think some of us deserve to live and have justice, while others do not deserve the same justice. Or we believe that some do not deserve to live peacefully because of the color of their skin. Why is there so much hate in our hearts for others?
