Our Journey Begins!

I am so happy this day has finally come! I am launching my website today. I want to thank those who have made this day possible for me.

To my husband whom I love dearly, thank you for encouraging me to follow my dreams. Even though this site talks a lot about ministers and may be a little bit uncomfortable, my husband is the ADULT in the room and knows this is not directly related to him. He is aware my information comes from encounters with many wives over my entire lifetime in church. He is a sweet husband and when I am stressed, he is the only person who can calm me down even bringing down my blood pressure. I have done nothing but champion my husband’s success and his dream for over 20 years, and I know he wants me to succeed. This is my time now!

I dedicate this site to my mother. Mother, you loved me unconditionally and had no doubts of what I could accomplish. Most of all, you trusted me because you knew exactly who I was and what was in my heart! I miss you so much mother. You would have been thrilled that I am finally doing what you knew I could do, but more importantly, what you knew I have always wanted to do. Rest in peace mother! You are the wind beneath my wings. I also want to thank my mother-in-law who I loved as my mother. She got to know me very well in her last days and I wish my husband could have been privy to our talks. She loved me as a daughter and was elated I loved her son. I cherish what she taught me and you too mother-in-law, rest if peace!

Thank you to my daughter who I have had to lean on so many times for comfort (even though it should be the other way around), my son whose quiet, sweet spirit is so unwavering; my sister, brother, auntie and all my family for your help and encouragement over these years. Thank you to my best friend who created this website and edits it as well. She and I have been through many things together and without her this day would not be possible. Thanks to my walking partner who in many difficult times, talked me through them and provided much wisdom. You, my friend, are truly an inspiration.

Last, but just as important, I want to thank all the ministers’ wives for providing me with the material and stories for this website because without your input, this site would not be possible. A special thanks to my friend, who while we were at lunch, set the spark off in my mind that ultimately, directed me here.

This site is not solely about ministers’ wives but much, much more! There is religion, politics, HELP for about anything you need, and just a place for us to chitchat - whether happy or sad. I want to help my sisters in the ministry and anyone else who may need help. Get on board with me and let’s start this journey together. We never know where this journey will take us or where it will end!
